LOOK. LOOK AGAIN features 140 artworks and provides an alternative frame of reference for engaging with Australian history and culture.
Beginning with impressionism and moving through modernism to new media, the selection presents works from many of Australia’s key modernist artists such as Margaret Preston, Nora Heysen, Joy Hester and Elise Blumann, as well as reflecting the diversity of postmodern art practice in the work of artists like Rosalie Gascoigne, Susan Norrie, Tracey Moffatt, Michelle Nikou and Julie Dowling.
A full list of artworks displayed at the exhibition can be viewed in either PDF or RTF format. This list is also available in print at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery front desk.
A limited list of artworks and accompanying text is also available within the free UWA Cultural Precinct iOS mobile app.
The 8-page exhibition catalogue is available at the Gallery front desk or downloadable in PDF format. The catalogue also features an essay by John Cruthers, Sydney-based art consultant and co-curator of LOOK. LOOK AGAIN.
