LOOK. LOOK AGAIN is a unique survey exhibition of historic and contemporary works of art made by women in Australia. The exhibition runs from 20 October - 15 December 2012 at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery.
Drawn from the Cruthers Collection of Women’s Art, a private collection donated to The University of Western Australia in 2007, LOOK. LOOK AGAIN presents a significant record of female creativity in Australia over the past 125 years.
For more information about the exhibition, details on artwork and artists or to view and download the exhibition catalogue, visit the various sections on the website or contact the Gallery.
LOOK. LOOK AGAIN is also accompanied by the symposium 'Are We There Yet?' and the fully-illustrated companion publication called 'Into The Light'.

Beginning with impressionism and moving through modernism to new media, the selection presents works from many of Australia’s key modernist artists such as Margaret Preston, Nora Heysen, Joy Hester and Elise Blumann, as well as reflecting the diversity of postmodern art practice in the work of artists like Rosalie Gascoigne, Susan Norrie, Tracey Moffatt, Michelle Nikou and Julie Dowling.
