Tuesday - Saturday 11am - 5pm.

 

The Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery is committed to improving access to its exhibitions, collections and public programs and are actively trialling various initiatives to support those with diverse ability.

Selected exhibition content and public programs are available in a variety of formats such as:

  • Large Print catalogues
  • Audio Descriptions of artworks
  • Auslan Guides
  • Transcripts and captions of artist interviews and talks

In addition, LWAG seeks to produce all print brochures and PDFs in accessible HTML with a minimum of AA compliance.

Directions

Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery is located on the corner of Stirling Highway and Fairway, within the University of Western Australia Crawley campus.

 

Venue Access

  • The Gallery is accessible by wheelchair.
  • A manual wheelchair is available for visitor use, free-of-charge from Gallery reception.
  • Accessible toilets are available.
  • Carparking is available for ACROD permit holders on Fairway (entry via Mounts Bay Road) adjacent to the Gallery.

Access Programs

LWAG runs access programs for visitors with visual impairment, hearing difficulties and visitors living with Alzheimer's.

  • Let's Meet at LWAG: For visitors living with Alzheimer's. 
  • Can Touch This: Verbal Description and Touch Tour for visitors with visual impairment. 
  • Australian Sign Language tours
