We are an important educational resource at UWA, providing valuable learning opportunities for university staff and students, school groups and the general public.
The Gallery presents a wide-ranging series of public programs including talks, tours, and opportunities to meet artists. We can also arrange for a Gallery staff member to conduct a tour of the Gallery with organised groups.
Group tours must be booked in advance. To make a booking, or if you want further information about our educational programs, contact the Curator of Public and Academic Programs, Laetitia Wilson.
The Gallery welcomes visits from primary and secondary school groups.
We can provide teachers with a range of educational resources to support their teaching, or arrange for a Gallery staff member to present a guided tour of the Gallery with students.
We strongly encourage university staff and students to use the Gallery as a resource within their teaching and learning by engaging with our exhibitions, collections and a regular series of public programs, which often feature UWA scholars.
We conduct special academic programs for UWA students, such as our annual art writing prize.
