Public Program

CURATINGforum forms part of the broader Public Program schedule.

CURATINGforum is a platform for generating a discussion around contemporary curatorial practice. The forum takes place at the Gallery and continues online.

In this informative discussion on curatorial practice our panelists will be joined by special guest speaker, Amanda Cachia. Cachia will discuss recently curated exhibitions at the intersection of contemporary art and disability, including Medusa’s Mirror: Fears, Spells & Other Transfixed Positions (2011) and What Can a Body Do? (2012), both held in the USA.

Cachia offers an opportunity to re-think aspects of access and discursive programming in conjunction with disability-themed exhibitions.
