What is The Big Draw Festival?

The Big Draw festival is an international event that celebrates the benefits of drawing as a tool for communication, innovation, learning and social engagement.

Big Draw at UWA

Following a highly successful event in 2016, the Big Draw festival returns to UWA in October 2017 with the theme of Living Lines

The UWA Cultural Precinct will host Big Draw Living Lines Festival across several venues at UWA. Events will include: 

  • Drawing workshops and activities
  • Virtual Reality (VR) drawing sessions using TiltBrush
  • Performance drawing events
  • Residencies
  • Talks and seminars
  • Installations and more.

Be a part of Big Draw at UWA 

Are you interested in running an event as part of the Big Draw at UWA? The UWA Cultural Precinct is inviting proposals to host a drawing-related event between 12 - 21 October. Proposals are invited from everyone - including artists, facilitators, teachers, students, academics from all fields.
