University Art Museums Australia (UAMA) members are Australian university art museums which conduct a public program of changing exhibitions in a professional art museum and which are also responsible for and/or exhibit a university art collection.

UAMA's objectives:

• research, promote and advocate the interests of Australian university art museums;
• facilitate exchange of ideas, information, exhibitions & staff;
• present and facilitate seminars, conferences and forums that develop and promote university art museums and build strategic links with individuals and organisations;
• demonstrate best practice and professional standards; and
• contribute to the public understanding of the significance of university art museums to the Australian museum sector.
